Joint project between the Universidad Austral de Chile and the Sports Club Deportivo Valdivia. 

We have been entrusted with the design and presentation of the project, with a limited budget, to strengthen the alliance between both entities and thus move towards the construction of the sports center. The planning of almost 7 hectares is contemplated for the distribution of the courts and the creation of an important volume of low cost, which contains a basic program for the operation of the center. The construction of a second level is also contemplated for a later stage of construction, which has not been designed but is contemplated within the structural loads and aesthetic dimensions, in order to maintain the same volume that grows at a very low cost.

The volume contemplates straight and simple lines, to generate a sensation of grandeur with few square meters_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf50_5-cc78de40_and a very limited height. -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ The red lines on the façade fulfill the function of reducing the temperature of the building in summer, thus avoiding the use of air conditioning. We have included the lines that form the X of the Valdivian flag that players wear on their chests, as a design element.
